2a. Throughout the course, you have identified an area of interest for a research project. In your case assignment, you shared information regarding your research project such as why you selected it, how/where you plan to use it, and its implications for your current workplace, industry and/or society. Now, be honest and ask yourself the questions below. You may have answered some of these questions in previous modules, but do so now for YOU and not just to address a TD prompt.

<
<
Is my topic realistic?
<
Do my survey questions sufficiently answer my overall research questions?
<
Is it too emotionally linked to me or is it a personal ax to grind?
<
Is there supportive literature, trade publications, subject matter experts in the field?
<
Can I replicate evidence based findings or is it totally unique?
<
Can I apply my research project to my immediate workplace, practice and or organization immediately upon completing the program?
<
Will I be able to get permission from the CEO, department head, etc., to conduct my research within the organization including survey and or qualitative approach to prospective participants?
<
<
<
2b. Discuss with a colleague your honest responses. With just a few weeks left in the course, it’s time to make SURE that your research project is something you REALLY want to do and you can hone it further with your Chair.

I chose this topic because it runs in my family and it’s been increasing this past couple of years without being related to genetics.

I cannot apply this to my current work since it’s completely different but i am hoping that one day i will after completion of this masters program.
