Activity Description
Submit Research Prospectus. The Research Prospectus is an overview of your Doctoral Project, giving the reader sufficient information about the work you are proposing, the societal problem you are investigating, and about the way you plan to conduct your research. It provides insights and perspectives for why the study should be conducted.
This document is examined closely to ensure all sections are appropriately aligned.
There are four sections in the Prospectus: The Background of the Problem, the Statement of the Problem, the Purpose of the Study with Research Questions, and the Theoretical Framework. Submit Research Prospectus. 7 pages.
The prospectus is submitted by the Chair for review prior to advancing to the next activity. The Prospectus Review will include an examination of the feasibility of the study, alignment of problem, purpose, and research questions, APA style 7th edition formatting, adherence to DP Template, and alignment with mainstream research.
The Prospectus Review will be returned to the Chair within three days of submission. The review results will be uploaded to the course page so that it is part of course record. All areas for improvement noted on the Prospectus Review must be addressed prior to receiving a satisfactory grade.
