You can still make changes to your paper based on feedback from TurnItin, feedback from our Writing Center, or feedback from other people who read your draft. However, this needs to be a full draft of your final paper.
You will be able to see the report. A score of 10% to 20% is typical. You will find matches for titles and references. Also, you will see matches for stray phrases and such. That is okay. By the way, quotes show up as matches, too. Most students who use quotes end up quoting far too much. Rarely is it necessary for students to quote their sources. Trust your own voice to summarize, analyze, and synthesize in your own words.
When you look at the report from TurnItIn, pay special attention to any sentences or paragraphs that match. And look for passages where you relied too much on the words of your sources. That is not okay; you need to use your own words when writing your paper. If you see those sorts of problems, then fix them and resubmit your paper. The best advice I can give is: Do not submit your paper in the first place if you know that you copied and pasted from sources. That is plagiarism.
