logistic regression is a bivariate analysis where variables are used to predict a single dichotomous (binary) criterion. Unfortunately, the Cohen-Katz et al. (2004) article you referenced in your critique does not include logistic regression analysis. Cohen-Katz assigned participants to conditions (treatment/control) – this is the IV, not the outcome. Instead these researchers use a series of t-tests to conduct their analysis to determine if mindfulness training reduces stress and burnout.
