Revise the instructional design models in the presentation. Explore the suggested web resources. Download the Puerto Rico Core Standards. Choose one of the following instructional design models (Dick & Carey, ADDIE, Kemp, ASSURE, or Gagne) and plot out a unit implementing the elements of that design. In the introduction of your lesson plan (about two paragraphs), use at least three references for justifying your choice of design, and explain how that design is beneficial for the lesson you are planning. Briefly explain each element of your chosen design. For the needs analysis (what they should know), goals, objectives or performance outcomes refer to the Puerto Rico Program of Core Standards for the grade level you are working with or those of the state you live in.
Create a Lesson Plan for three days (1 hour period each day) based on an instructional design. Cover the four language domains in your plans. Include these sections: Standards, topic, content objectives and language objectives per day, materials and resources, instructional activities/strategies with procedures, and assessments addressing the four language domains (distributed throughout the three days). In terms of the similarity index, you are permitted up to 25%.
Be sure to observe the rubric for evaluation specifications. Remember to include all the elements of the instructional design used.
Contribute a minimum of 2 pages. It should include at least 2 academic sources, formatted and cited in APA.
