In Chapter 3 of “Resonance Leadership,” Boyatzis discusses dissonance as a default. We have all behaved somewhat dissonant at some point, either in our personal or professional lives.
Instructions:
Provide one or two examples of when you have behaved in a dissonant manner.
For the example:
– State the situation.
– What actions did you take? Be specific on demonstrating dissonant behaviors.
– Who did you involve?
– What was the result?
– What did you learn?
– How you would handle the situation differently if it happened again?
